Our Story
I founded KoroVera after years in strategic transformation, risk advisory, and operational governance. Time and again, I watched organisations pour millions into technology modernisation, only for programmes to drift off course and miss their intended value.
Scope crept, budgets stretched, and shifting strategies or suppliers created friction. The root cause was rarely the software; it was managing technology in a silo, detached from cross-functional collaboration, light on governance, and underestimating the human capability required for change.
I built KoroVera to address this. Sitting at the intersection of technical risk frameworks and leadership coaching, I knew there was a more supportive path to lasting organisational resilience.

Why We Exist
Mid-market organisations are facing more pressure, more complexity and less room for error.
Technology is moving quickly. Regulation is shifting. Supplier dependency is increasing. Risks are becoming harder to see, own and prioritise.
But the real problem is often not one isolated issue.
It is the gap between the structures designed to protect the business and the people expected to make change happen.
KoroVera exists to close that gap.
We help scaling organisations connect governance, technology, risk, suppliers, teams and leadership, so resilience becomes practical, human and sustainable.
Why I Built KoroVera
After 25+ years working across technology, governance, resilience, suppliers, regulatory environments and organisational change, I saw the pattern repeatedly.
Organisations were rarely struggling because of one isolated problem. The real challenge was usually in the gaps between systems, risk, people and external dependencies.
That is why I built KoroVera: to help organisations see those connections more clearly and strengthen the areas that make change safer, simpler and more sustainable.
My experience includes:
- technology, governance, resilience and organisational change
- supplier, third-party and regulatory requirements
- technology, consulting, energy, financial services, fintech and non-profit sectors
- complex change, technology and operational environments
- coaching individuals, teams and leaders through complexity and transition

Our Philosophy: The Meaning Behind KoroVera
Our name reflects the dual force required to build a truly resilient organisation: combining calculated operational structure with authentic human alignment.
Kōro (Systems & Strategy)
Derived from the Japanese word Kōro (航路), meaning a precisely charted shipping lane or navigation route at sea. Technology modernisation and risk remediation can feel like storm-tossed waters. We help you map out calculated technical blueprints across governance, operational resilience, and systems architecture so your organisation stays on course without drifting into costly rework.
Vera (People & Culture)
Derived from the classical Latin root Verus, meaning truth, accuracy, and authentic alignment. Systems are only as effective as the people running them. We focus on building genuine leadership capability, fostering healthy team cultures, and ensuring your workforce is actively aligned with your strategic direction.
The KoroVera Framework
When you unite the path (Kōro) with genuine readiness (Vera), sustainable business transformation follows. You gain the ability to navigate complex growth with operational clarity and authentic leadership.
Today, we partner with forward-thinking organisations and leadership teams to build this resilience. By pairing rigorous risk frameworks with deep internal alignment, we help you execute your strategy smoothly, building the lasting capability your business needs to scale safely.
